Fire - friend or enemy?

i'm being stupid though.
i have no idea why i wrote this.
nvm.
soooo..
Fire is a powerful force that can be used for either good or bad purposes. It can, herefore, be considered both a friend and an enemy.

From the earliest times, fire has been used for cooking and heating, One thing that distinguishes man from animals is the ability to make fire and use it to cook and to keep themselves warm. The survival of man in many places of the world depends on man's ability to keep themselves warm with fire. It also provides him with far more palatable food than the raw alternative, especially with regard to the consumption of meat.

Yet fire is not only used in a primitive environment, for much of modern civilization depends on the use of fire. Simple wood fires have given way to far more sophisticated fires. Fires are used to produce much of our electricity. Futhermore, fire is used to heat the furnaces that produce iron, steel, without which we would not have much that belongs to our present civilization.

Fire, too,is responsible for the functioning of much of our transport-in the internal combustion engine. This contains a controlled fire which power cars, buses and lorries, all of which sre indispensable for our modern way of life.

However, fire is not always beneficial. We beneficial. We regularly read in the newspaper and see on our TV screens and vast forest fires which engulf certain countries subjected to protracted periods of dryness and heat. Vast forests are burned and millions of dollars of damage is done to property.

Anyway firefighters will be able to tell stories of the devasting effects of fire-the ease with which fire kills from its smoke, ther horror of burnt bodies, the horrific burns and scars on those who survive it. These effects are suffered by those living in towns as well as those living in forested areas.

We can see that fire can be a friend and an enemy. For where man controls it, it is indeed beneficial. Where man loses control, it is a threat to like, property and health.

Shanggei also said that "Love is like a fire. Whether it is going to warm your heart or burn your house down, you'll never know."

haha.lol
